Gijinka are canon.

I was messing around on bulbapedia when I came across this http://bulbapedia.bulbagarden.net/wiki/Burst. There is a pokemon manga out there named Pokemon ReBurst that HAS GIJINKA IN IT. They don't call it that, but the idea is basically the same. Here's the link to the website: http://websunday.net/rensai/pokemon/

What do you guys think about this? Did the creators know about gijinka before writing the manga?

i imagine that they did, i mean a gijinka is part of manga/anime culture

I actually have to agree here also!
I've seen a lot of creative gijinka designs and I think most of the ones in this comic are just kinda "meh."
Maybe I'm just extra spoiled by the vast amount of pokemon gijinkas on the interwebs.

And has anybody noticed how the quality and art style o the Pokemon manga has like, drastically dropped? It used to be okay at first, but now it's just like, blagh!

Yeah I've never really been a fan of the style but I'm sad it hasn't kept up with the times. I feel like a lot of manga are really exceeding in art quality and pokemon just... hasn't.

Agreed, Pokemon has made little to no dvances in their art quality whatsoever.

I think the last pokemon manga I was actually invested in was Yellow Caballero. I didn't mind that style that much since it was pretty decent at the time. It would be awesome if they got a cool artist to redraw it~

I think our artwork is somehow "better", Gijnkas in this manga just look like they are half-blood, the body of a pokemon and the head of a human.
